The board is pleased to announce that the South African Tissue Bank Association (SATiBA) is now a sister Association of the EATCB.
The President of the EATCB, Jacinto Sanchez-Ibanez, attended a meeting of the European Committee on Organ Transplantation (CD-P-TO) in May.
The June 2019 issue of Cell and Tissue Banking has been published. EATCB members can access the journal free of charge via the Member's Lounge
The EATCB has published a position paper on the regulatory classification of non-cultured, autologous keratinocytes and melanocytes.The Association feels these should be regulated under the Tissue and Cell legal framework, rather than as advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs)
